THE

THE LOCATION EVEN THOUGH NOT IN THE CENTER OF TOWN WAS GREAT IT WAS A 5 MIN DRIVE TO THE TOWN. I LIKE THE SAVANNAH AND THE ABILITY TO GET SOME EXERCISE. THE BREAKFAST WAS OK BUT NEEDS A BIT MORE VARIETY. I DO NOT EAT MEAT OR FISH AND WAS A BIT LIMITED

THERE IS NOT MUCH MORE I COULD THINK ABOUT RIGHT NOW. THE HOTEL DID WHAT I WANTED. THAT WAS MY SECOND VISIT AND WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO MY FAMILY AND COLLEAGUES. HOWEVER, I WISH THERE WAS SOME PROGRAM THAT REPEATED GUEST LIKE POINTS THAT WOULD BRING SAVINGS AND DISCOUNTS.

Very Good

The location is perfect, clean and a very safe area. The staff is helpful. I also liked the pool area. Small but perfect for a quick swim.

The breakfast could have a bit more choices. As the climate Trinidad is very moist, you have a dehumidifier in the room and it is a bit loud (can be switched off).

Hefty price for to less service

Bad experience with the Kapok hotel. The first really negative experience after two weeks in the Caribbean staying in many hotels. Booked three nights via Booking.com. That amounted to US$614.74. A hefty price for a non-special hotel and single occupancy. Upon arrival the room turned out to be at the front. There is a busy highway there. With extremely poor window insulation, so a lot of traffic noise. When booking I had already indicated: A quiet room please. There had been no response to this, nor to my request to arrange a taxi from the airport. Upon arrival, I saw the room, noticed the noise and asked for a room at the backside. A good hotel will apologize and accommodate you. Afterwards, this hotel appears to have converted the booking into a very expensive upgrade at the rear with a balcony that I did not ask for and about which absolutely nothing was said. This only became clear to me when I had to book an extra night due to a delayed flight due to tropical storm Tammy. When I saw the price, I asked for a 'normal' room at the back. After half an hour of hassle at the counter, I was able to move my things. And what seems? By mistake another room at the front. Back to the counter. Waiting again for another room. Much smaller without a balcony. It took 2.5 hours in the end. Without any compensation. A good hotel will immediately offer you compensation for the downgrade and, for example, a meal for all the inconvenience. Nothing at all at Kapok. An extremely poor service and apparently with the aim of booking as much money as possible at the expense of foreign guests. A hotel that doesn't have much to offer anyway: a bar downstairs with three televisions and a lot of noise. A swimming pool where there is so much noise from air conditioning and other installations that it feels like you are on a factory site. The only really positive thing is the excellent restaurant on the 8th floor with very courteous staff.

The breakfast was good. The second day wasn’t good as the first

The coconut bake was kinda dry, it should have been substituted for bread or something else

Would recommend to anyone who would like to stay for a perfect staycation.

The breakfast was remarkable. Really nice scenery & view of the Savannah & environs surroundings. Employees were really helpful & pleasant.

Perfect Stay. Kapok is certainly an underrated hotel choice in Trinidad and Tobago.

The staff were excellent throughout the entire hotel. True Trini Hospitality! Great recommendations at KAVA then great service and understanding for breakfast both days. 9.9/10, keep these Team Members!

Our stay was so satisfying that we didn't want to leave.

Breakfast was excellent the coconut bake and pumpkin tasted exceptional

Check in was quick and efficient and the staff welcoming, also the staff made us feel appreciated. Cleanliness on point.thanku for making our stay a memorable one .

A Pleasant Stay with Good Breakfast and Gym Facility.

The Gym facility was good as I had a good workout with adequate weights provided. Also, the daily breakfast was very good, with various fruits and local main dishes.

The bathroom in my room was very small/cramped, including the shower. The room overall was a bit small and I felt a little claustrophobic.

The staff were absolutely lovely. The room was generously sized and the breakfast was ample with cooked and continental options and fresh coffee made to order.

The room was over-air-conditioned. Probably to protect against the humidity but it was very chilly

Brilliant location. The breakfast is delicious. Cafe is open late into the night. Rooms are spacious and super comfortable.
